Pelican Waste and Debris, LLC began this morning collecting curbside garbage in St. Bernard Parish. Any resident who has not received their blue cart CAN use any cart until the new cart is delivered. Pelican will continue to deliver carts until every residence has received one. Reminder, appliances (white goods) such as stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers and hot water heaters will NOT be picked up. Anyone who would like to purchase an additional cart should contact Pelican Waste at 504-510-5856.

The garbage pick-up schedule will remain the same throughout the parish:

MONDAY AND THURSDAY
TUESDAY AND FRIDAY
WEDNESDAY AND SATURDAY

COLLECTION OF PROGRESSIVE/SDT CARTS
Progressive has begun picking up carts in areas of the parish. Anyone with questions concerning cart pick-up please contact Progressive Waste at 504-940-2177.
