LEADERSHIP
RODDIE MATHERNE, OWNER/GENERAL MANAGER
Mr. Matherne brings 30 years of waste collection experience to Pelican Waste & Debris, LLC. Mr Matherne was employed by SWDI, LLC from 1983 – 2010. Mr. Matherne started at SWDI, LLC as a hopper on a residential garbage truck and worked his way to General Manager through hard work and dedication to his job. Mr. Matherne is a member of the Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce, Lafourche Chamber, and the South Central Industrial Association.
CHRISTIAN LAPEYRE, OWNER
Mr. Lapeyre has been in employee benefits since 1996. He has earned the professional designation of Registered Health Underwriter from the American College. Mr. Lapeyre is a member of the Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce, South Central Industrial Association, Bayou Industrial Group, Lafourche Chamber, Houma Rotary Club, Nicholls State University Foundation and Board of Directors of the local chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association.
COREY CALLAIS, OWNER
Mr. Callais brings 30 years of waste collection experience to Pelican Waste & Debris, LLC. Corey Callais is the former CEO and Owner of SWDI from 1978-2010. and former owner of Abdon Callais in Golden Meadow. Currently, he serves as Chairman for Callais Capital Management and United Community Bank. Mr. Callais is a member of the Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce and Lafourche Chamber of Commerce.
