THE CHALLENGES

Understanding your manpower and cash issues can determine the success or failure of any project. Do not overestimate your capabilities or underestimate your cash flow.  Map out the details of all of the projects going on and what you are bidding that could happen in the near future.

Inflexibility is another challenges. Map out your plan and continually review your plan versus reality. Be willing to make changes when you see your plan is failing. Without a plan or refusing to gauge success against your plan has doomed many companies to continue down a road to failure. Have a willingness to change the plan and learn. Fail teachs you a lot.

OUR CLIENTS SAYS

I’ve been happy with the services provided by Pelican Waste & Debris. Melissa has been wonderful! She has returned my calls quickly, and she answered all my questions.

We’re traveling to Baton Rouge (& back) today from the west central part of the state – we left around 7am this morning. It’s a long ride for our 10yo son. At a red light between Hwy 190 and where we get on I-10 he apparently motioned for one of your drivers to honk . . . . and your kind driver obliged! He was delighted. Thank you for that driver. – he broke up the trip just a bit for our restless little man. – The Martin Family

I just wanted to pass along a compliment and appreciation for the service we received this morning. The gentleman on the back of the truck was very friendly and waved to us, and the driver of the truck also waved and beeped the horn (which my 7-year-old LOVED!). I didn’t have my trash can out for trash pickup, but they came to my trash can to check it to make sure it didn’t need to be emptied. I thought that was such a kind and thoughtful gesture because sometimes we just forget about it on trash day. Your workers are so hard-working and go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Kudos to the workers in Violet this monring. It is greatly appreciated. – Kelly Gonzales Simpson
